remnants of a few different EP ideas that never got off the ground before ℹ︎ started. somehow this works.

no tracks feature rings into clouds. those are all on the ℹ︎ album WFH (informationsource.bandcamp.com/album/wfh), recorded immediately after this. in hindsight it would have been less confusing to name the other album rings into clouds but what are ya gonna do

favourite track on the album is either ether fog (with Shaun's video as a perfect visualiser) or geosmin, amen, depending on the mood. hydrogen supermassive a close third. sunrise nimbus is the most optimistic thing ever released by WIST.

tracks 3/6/8 sep-oct 2020: neutron, beatstep pro
track 9 sep 2020: microfreak
track 4 oct 2020: microfreak, neutron
track 7 nov 2020: microfreak, nrings easter egg
track 10 oct-nov 2020: microfreak, nrings, neutron, a-119, amen sample, 707 sample

all recorded and performed live in a single take with the exception of: edits/beat overdub/reverb performance on track 2; microfreak overdub on track 4; separate neutron performances on track 8; addition of beats on track 10. only track 2 contains destructive edits but the original performance was about 16 minutes, if that sounds appealing to you then get in touch.

processed on a macbook pro in ableton live and reaper with valhalla supermassive + tal reverbs, izotope ozone + rx suite. final once-over in august 2021.
